Our hinge top Platform Scales are available in 304 or 316 stainless steel. They fit the need for most food processing or pharmaceutical operations.
The "easy to clean" design permits above floor or pit type installations. On the 48" x 48" platforms and larger, there is one 12" x 12" removable cover plate that can be easily removed to clear debris from drain screens etc. The two side plates can be "opened" by removing three flat head machine screws. The plates rotate past the vertical position so they will stay up during the cleaning process. There is a 1" hole drilled in each plate for easy lifting. This design makes cleaning easy. Platform is available with "sealed" stainless steel load cells or "hermetically sealed" stainless steel load cells. "Pit frames" are available for "in floor" applications. The pit frame is fabricated with 304 stainless steel and actually forms the pit. Concrete and conduit for the load cell wire are all that is required by the customer. We also offer ramps for use with pallet trucks or hand trucks for "above ground" applications. Ramps are available for use on 1, 2, 3, or 4 sides.
